I'm beta testing a web based backup solution on the market right now. It definitely has potential. I like that they actually take user feedback and use it to improve their product. The best thing about it is it supports file versioning!

Not sure when the official release is going to be, but this website backup tool is definitely worth watching. Their blog also has some cool tips about general data loss prevention.

If you don't want to get too technical (I hate this) you can always use a dedicated solution for this very important task just like I do. I bought Site-Vault to backup my sites and I am very happy with it.
